Starting in 2015, I began leading trips in the Westfjords with my friend turned collaborator, Henry Fletcher. Inspired by experiences from the Rim of Africa Trail in South Africa, Henry wanted to develop a project to revitalize old walking routes in the rural Westfjords Region of Iceland.

Our guiding changed from walking-focused experiences to trail restoration experiences, working with international volunteers to spend up to 14 days working on cairns.
